Both the Leica M4 and the Summicron are in the original black (NOT repainted) which is very rare and sought after especially the black Summicron lens. For the early Leicas, the chrome bodies and lenses are far more common.
This can be readily verified from the serial numbers:
M4: 1384459
Summicron: 2269403
Would prefer to sell together, but if purchased separately, the M4 will be $3200 and the Summicron will be $4000.
I don't have much time these days for film photography so thought its is best to let others enjoy this wonderful camera and lens.
Condition is very good. I will be frank - they are certainly not mint but for something that is 40 over years old, they are excellent!
You are welcome to test it out. I would suggest a CLA before using as I last used this awhile ago.
