It is true that the build for special edition Leica lens and cameras are better than normal editions.

Do a search on eBay and the cheapest used copy you can find is S$4,800 and a new copy is closer to S$7,000, both not including shipping and GST. This copy of my friend's is an absolute bargain I would say.
