Up for sale is a fine specimen of the legendary Voigtlander 125mm f/2.5SL APO Lanthar Macro, a lens that was produced in very limited numbers, and even more so in native Canon EF mount where production is estimated at a mere 100 pieces at Cameraquest. It now sells at that website for US$1400 (or approx. S$1900 at current conversion rates). Production of this lens has ceased and it will more difficult (and more pricey) to find in this condition.
Because of its exceedingly high sharpness and contrast at wide open and the dreamy bokeh, this lens has been highly praised. At another website, I posted a number of sample images from this lens. While they are not competitive in terms of artistic value, it does demonstrate how the lens renders its subjects:

While this lens is perhaps the best piece of glass in my current setup, it's had its 15-minutes of fame. These days I hardly do macro. Rather than keeping such a superb lens in the box, I've decided to release it to those who desire to get their hands on this collectible. It is a true apochromatic lens producing images with little to no CA, which is a rather desirable and rare trait.
The actual lens and its accessories (note that box and paperwork all included also):
The lens comes with all its original boxed accessories, as if you were buying new. The cap and hood are in mint condition, photographed once for the image above but never used. The lens itself has been gaffered and had protection from a UV filter since day 1. It is in as-new condition save for some atmospheric dust. The gaffering has already been removed so that you can inspect the condition for yourself.
