This lens have been calibrated in 2011, with the diaphragm* replaced. It has been rarely used since and I am looking to move to wide angle on my mark 2.
Performance wise, the lens produces very sharp pictures, sharper than a 24-70mm L I rented.

* Do note that diaphragm failure is quite common for this lens (see the link below). It costs me 180 dollars to do so with Canon. So you are getting a relatively new diaphragm, potentially saving that sum of money.
