Hi guys,
Optimising my gear so will be streamlining my SLR outfit further.
Up for sale are some Canon 550EX external flashes. This was previously the top of the line offering before the 580 series were introduced. If your cameras doesn't have the Flash Exposure Control (FEC) function, you can now have it by activating it from the flash control panel itself.
The 550EX flash has full E-TTL/TTL autoflash control and wireless transmission/reception as well as E-TTL preflash, AF-assist beam, auto zoom, and bounce flash. The wireless function enable the 550EX to be used both as a master transmitter as well as a slave receiver and it's compatible with 420EX, 430EX, 430EXII, 580EX and 580EXII as well as the ST-E2 wireless transmitter. I have tested all of the above wireless combinations with up to 12 flashes with great results. Wireless flash does NOT work with 220EX and 270EX flashes.

- Maximum GN 55/180, ISO 100 m/ ft
- Autozoom coverage from 24-105mm with 17mm wide panel built-in
- Supports E-TTL, FEL and FP flash (High-Speed Sync) with most new EOS cameras
- Flash exposure compensation, flash exposure bracketing, second-curtain sync, variable-power manual flash, stroboscopic flash and more

Each flash comes with complete packaging and accessories. This includes the box as well as the flash stand, pouch and the user manual. All flashes in perfect working condition. No cracks and scratches on the flashes, at most, some light user marks on the chasis. The pouches may look a bit worn at the corners. Pictures to follow later if I have the time.
