When rotate the ring to Min, means more light to come in, so you can see through the lens..
For long exposure, you have to rotate it near to Max so less light will go into sensor..so can create photo on first post...Buy and Try IT NOW

58mm Thread lens sold..no reason for keeping. Or open trade with B+W variable ND filter plus top up from mine.
