I am a nature photographer using Nikon D3/D300 + full range of Nikon lens. I received the Sony A900 + Carl Zeiss Vario-Sonnar T* 24-70mm f2.8 lens as the top prize for a photographic competition. However much I like the Sony gift, I can't afford to build another brand in the lens arsenal for my need as a nature photographer.

The camera and lens are still in sealed boxes unopened, and will be sold in this condition. Pay first then open the seal so that I can maintain these as brand new.

I am reluctantly putting this set-up for sale to highest bidder and will close at midnight on 31st October. If I consider the bid price too low, I reserve the right not to sell.

Sorry guys, I didn't know you can't post reply here and therefore resorted to private messages and sms. That shows I have not posted for a long long long time.

Coming back to the bids, the highest for the moment is $3000 for the body submitted by a guy with telephone ending 4271 and the lens for $2010 by Stal.

I would prefer to sell as a package and the highest at the moment stands at $5100.

We now have to rely entirely on sms and private messages but will post highest bid here from time to time.

This is to announce the withdrawal of this offer as I want to keep the system as a standby for my Nikon setup.

Some offers that came in were shockingly low. These are brand new items and the seals of the boxes are still intact, but yet they were treated like second hand.

Therefore I have decided not to sell.
