Description:
Up for sale, a used but not abused A7r body only. To sweeten the deal, I am including extras in this sale. The extras themselves are worth a fair amount of cash so this is a fair deal.
I have also done, through P&G at Adelphi, a modification to the lens mount. As some of you might know, the A7 and A7r lens mounts aren't as sturdy as the later mounts found on A7s onwards Therefore, I purchased an A7s mount from Sony SG and had the default mount changed out for the full stainless steel mount at P&G. The original mount and receipt from P&G will be included.
While I do take care of my gear, the inevitable will happen. Some minor brassing can be found on the edges where the strap lugs rub against the camera body (see 3rd image). Camera is always in dry cabinet when not in use, so no fungus, massive scratches, dents or dings.
I rate this about an 8.5/10 due to the brassing on the top edges of the body.
PCK-LM16 semi-hard LCD protector applied on the rear LCD screen.
I had the camera sent in to check if there was a light leak (known issue with SOME A7r due to the mount) and there was none. However, Sony did include the rubber gasket that can be applied over the mount. Never found a need for it, but am including it.
To sweeten the deal, here is what is included besides the camera, box and manuals:
1. ReallyRightStuff L-bracket for A7r. This is THE BEST L bracket for cameras out there.
2. HejnarPhoto L-bracket to be used ONLY with the Metabones III/IV adapter. Using this will allow you to spread the weight of any adapted lenses to the Hejnar Photo set, thereby putting significantly less strain on your camera body mount
3. Herringbone camera handstrap. I bought this, tried it on, never liked it, so took it off. Literally brand new, purchased in Korea.
4. Artisan & Artist ACAM E25 strap. I do not strap my camera to my neck and instead use this to either wrap around my wrist when walking about with this camera. Including this as the original strap was misplaced.
5. Additional original Sony NP-FW50 battery. Total you get 2 original batteries.
6. Original external charger for Sony NP-FW50. Including this because I lost the charging adapter that came in the box. Besides, this is a far better option.
