Its honors include:
- Camera of the Year 2007-2008, EISA European, as voted by the prestigious European Imaging and Sound Association
- Best D-SLR Expert in Europe 2007 by the Technical Image Press Association (TIPA)
- Camera Grand Prix 2007 by Camera Journal Press Club (CJPC) in Japan
The camera was lightly used and still in good shape. Shutter actuation just passed 5K, around 5030, which is quit low. The lens glass is clean and clear, no fungus or scratch.
Even as of today, its sensor performance is still on par with many much more modern cameras of other brands, including Canon prosumer flagship 60D.

Its Weather Resistant feature is really a bonus which allow you keep a peace of mind when shooting outside (even without a WR lens). Very robust and very steady. Even today, if you search Pentax K10D on flickr, you will see it is still used by many photographers, even professionals.
