Bought over a year ago and seldom used; shutter count is something absurdly low (will post the number later when I get home). I had delusions of taking it traveling but never got around to it; only used it for some family pics during festive holidays and around the new baby.
BUT the shots I took with it were absolutely cracker! This D300 is an absolutely fantastic camera.
Reaction and response from this body was absolutely fantastic. All controls were intuitive and the AF locked on faster than a flea to a Saharan camel.
Everything from low indoor lighting to catching that perfect moment when my daughter was dancing around the room (3D AF active tracking ROCKS!), was captured perfectly!
Try PERFECT candlelit shot with 8 kids crowded around a birthday cake and ALL wanting to blow it out at the same time! Continuous shutter helped me nail THE shot!
The grandparents now have a shrine dedicated to my kids coz so many of my shots are keepers; from Christmas, to birthdays, to CNY. Shoot and nail it with my D300!

The Golden Box: Set is complete with everything inside the golden box, which itself is in great condition. Tells you how well I look after my stuff.
50/1.8: Will throw in the lens as well so you can start your shooting adventures with it. This too is in pristine condition, though there's no box as I got it off a friend.
The narrow DOF is fantastic! Took a couple shot with it once with the aperture wide open from about 5m away and got only ONE person pin sharp while her partner was slightly out of focus...
Portrit shots on the D300 with this lens are sweet! At 1.8 aperture, I got such incredible DOF control, my mother-in-law demanded extra shots of my newborn baby for her to mount and put on the wall; the whole family now thinks I'm a pro!
8GB CF card: From Kensington. Stores almost 300 shots in RAW + JPG mode! WOW!
Scratch protectors have been applied to both the top-mounted and rear mounted displays.

So you must be wondering why I'm selling it off? Making room for new kit. Anticipating a big bonus coming along soon and hoping to pick up a new D3. Maybe even one with an "x" behind it.
