Detailed Description:
I am selling a lightly used Nikon D800E camera body. There are some user marks on the mount and the bottom of the camera. The viewfinder is clear and free from scratches or mold. There is a minuscule amount of very fine dust within the viewfinder but it is not visible when looking through the finder. The rear and top LCD are clear and work perfectly. The back light for the top LCD also works. All the terminals have been tested and are working. There is no battery grip terminal cover on the bottom of the camera but you can buy one from Nikon Service Centre at $10.70 (GST inclusive). Autofocus is accurate and quick with AF-S lenses. I do not have AF-D lenses to test the camera with. The camera is mechanically perfect and the sensor in this camera produces beautiful colours. Shutter count is 19k.
Everything that came in the original box will be included except for the warranty card and receipt. I don't have them anymore. Sorry! The manuals, original camera strap and charger cable are unused, the rest of the stuff have been used. I'll also include an additional Nikon battery for a total of two (2) batteries, as well as a cable shutter release.
I have been bitten by the "small camera bug" recently and have become allergic to large cameras. As such, I have not used this camera as much as I would like to in the last few months.
