It has served me more than well. While the shutter count is 99K it is still in good working condition. I have not used it ever since I bought the D500 (for the speed that's needed in bird photography), and it has been stored in the dry cabinet since I bought it.
The camera surface is in good condition having never been abused nor dropped.
