Description:
selling my trusty D70 and 18-105 r72 ir modified cam combo, it can only be sold as a set coz the cam is calibrated to the lens, hence if you use other lens, you might get out of focus images.
the camera body has the old D70 "err" issue, sometimes, when you focus, it will appear on the viewfinder screen... all you have to do is press the shutter and it will fire blank, after that you can shoot normally.
this seldom happens though, in fact, even if you test it, chances are it wont come up... but being an honest seller, am letting you know and am compensating for it, thus am selling the body and the lens cheap (18-105vr could be around $300 2ndhand, unmodified D70 body will cost you at least $400, 2ndhand + IR modification around $150 at the most + the days of waiting before you can actually shoot).
if you are looking for a camera for IR shooting, this might be the one for you, pick it up and shoot right away.
am actually sad selling it away, but i need funds for non-photography related things...
i reduced the price of the cam and the lens in celebration of christmas day. so after it's over, the price would be back to normal. thanks!
