Just to be extremely upfront about the pricing and the rationale... and the fact that I'm selling as is.
Why is this going for cheaper than usual?
The camera has been used pretty heavily and could use a bit of a fix.
Currently the main issue is that the camera underexposes severely when shooting photos in live view mode. Not sure if it's a mirror box or shutter issue, but otherwise the camera shoots fine.
There's a small paint fleck that is visible in the viewfinder too (doesn't affect image.. it's just in the viewfinder).
Doesn't suffer from the dust issue.
So who is this for? Perhaps students who are looking to get a full frame body for cheaper, or someone who thinks they want to venture a fix and sell it for profit later on somehow.
Body condition is about 7, thumb grip etc has been replaced once before, so its not whitish or peeling off. The battery grip looks a bit worse for wear though (while working fine), so rated about 6 for physical looks.
Not for the fussy. You can inspect and test it on the spot.
Honest seller looking for honest buyer. Hoping to spring for a D750 after selling this off.
