My friend is actually selling this camera to raise money for a year-end holiday. He is willing to offer a once-off very attractive price if the buyer can commit and transact by this Friday. I will not post the price openly but interested buyers can PM or SMS me for details. All I can say is that it will be a big discount from his initial asking price.

Please also note that this camera is only very lightly used and definitely not used for commercial or professional purposes (i.e. still long useful life ahead). Shutter count is only about 4,000 and the set is practically brand new.

Have received some enquiries on the compatability of this camera with new Sony lenses. I am currently using a SAL18250 and a SAL50F18 SAM with this body with no issues at all. AF is fast and snappy, not to mention that the new Sony lenses do complement the body very well aesthetically. See photos below to get an idea of what I mean

Would still highly recommend this classic collectors' item to anybody who is serious into photography. Regardless of the system you are using, the Dynax 7D will appeal to your most natural instincts for a professional tool for the job on hand. Sure it is not a perfect camera, but it is very close and more importantly, no other system currently available in the market offers an experience similar to this.

If you are itching to upgrade but is not willing to pay the prices of the high-end models, this is I think the best solution. It will be one of those rare acquisition that will really make your day - especially when the market is flooded with so many me-too products.

So whatever you do, don't let the next D7D deal slip past you! Ask any owner and they will tell you they will rather keep theirs. Its really a collector piece!
