Selling my well-loved and well-used Canon 500D body as I have just upgraded to a 5D Mark II.
Bought it as part of the 18-55 kit in Singapore in July 2009 after it first came out, warranty has now expired. In Apr 2012 however, I sent it for servicing as it was water contaminated and so now the parts inside are as good as new.
Things to note:
- The rubber cushioning that is usually found around the viewfinder is absent - it came out after being through extensive travelling and I was never able to fix it back on properly; it is now missing. In my opinion though, it doesn't affect the use of the camera.
- I have kept the original Canon camera strap that came with the camera as it is too well-used and too unhygenic to pass it on to someone else.
- I have no idea what the shutter count is, but if you imagine 2.5years of extensive travelling in Europe you might get an idea of how well-used the camera is.
- The 18-55 IS kit lens is not included in this sale! I sold it separately some time back.

- Original CDs and instruction manuals
- Original interface and AV cables still in their original packing

Not for the fussy buyer, perhaps more suitable for someone who wishes to start out with DSLR photography and wants a decent camera to play with but doesn't wish to splurge just yet.
