This liveview camera uses the same sensor technology as the Nikon D2X DSLR (10.3 Mega Pixel). It has a superb Carl Zeiss Vario Sonnar lens (2.8-4.8 / 14.3-71.5). No issue with dust on the sensor with this baby. Most of the key adjustments/functions are via buttons, so easily accessable, not via troublesome software.
Zoom is manual and not motor driven. The way it should be.
It has so many options. If you are just starting out. This is it.
