Just purchased this camera from a fellow CSer on an impulse. Selling the camera not because it is no good but not really used to the focal length; it is a little too wide for my liking.
The lens a 30mm f3.5 macro and you can flick it to a 24mm wide panorama.
The camera itself is in working condition but may appear to fade a little at times; most of the times it is fine. Just want to point this out since I am aware of it. This is not much of a problem because all you need is to angle the camera a little and you would be able to see everything. The "fading" is only at the extreme right and does not affect the camera's operation. I understand that this is common problem for the Ricoh R1.
The foam near around the film window is flaky but should not give any problems.
