Detailed Description:
For sale, a beautiful Minox MDC Titan. When released in 1994, the MDC Titan was the flagship camera of Minox, and is built and designed to reflect that. The camera is constructed of an aluminum-titanium alloy, with extremely strong and durable Makrolon forming the interior. The MDC Titan features a Program mode for ease of shooting, with LED read outs in the viewfinder for displaying shutter speeds in Aperture Priority mode. Focusing is manually achieved, using the distance scale on the lens for estimation, which might be a challenge for beginners. Metering is extremely accurate, as is characteristic of all Minox 35s, and the lens is the amazingly sharp 35mm F2.8 Minoxar, multicoated for excellent contrast and flare resistance.
This piece is in almost new condition, with the original plastic box and instructions, the latter in German, but I can supply you with a photocopied English manual if you require. The Minox 35s are all pretty easy to use though, with no fancy functions to get in the way of shooting, but it’s also a camera you also have to hold in your hands to appreciate. I’m only the second owner of this camera, and I’ve shot just one roll recently after purchasing it two months ago. If it’s of any importance to the provenance of the camera and the legitimacy of this listing, I’m reluctantly selling this because someone stole my damn phone and I need the money. My dream of being buried with this camera will have to wait I suppose.
