A little struggle as XA4s are very hard to come by. Posting as an interest check if anyone's interested in this little gem. I'm selling this camera to partially fund a lens. Its an extra in my collection and is the one I use (instead of keeping in ziplock bag).
XA4 is the rarest among the Olympus XA series (not including the colored XAs of course) and perhaps the best. Its armed with a 28mm f3.5 wide lens, and is able to focus down to 1 feet (macro? hah) unlike many other P&S of the same era which has a minimum focus distance of 3 feet. When focus set at 1feet ~ 1.5feet, maximum aperture will be f5.6 to overcome the thin depth of field at f3.5 (not that f5.6 helps much). Otherwise, f3.5 is the wide open aperture. Camera has a auto DX code reader and can be overcome for push/pulling by using some tape to cover the dx code on your film canister. XA4s are highly acclaimed cameras and I wonder why its produced in such limited quantities.
Camera is in perfect working condition and good cosmetic condition. Some light scratches on the back. Nothing serious though. Comes with the dedicated camera strap which is used for measuring object distance for 1 feet and 1.5 feet. Also comes with A11 flash light which is working well. Camera uses 2x LR44 batteries and all batteries will be included.
