Equipment Type: Compact
Equipment Brand: Olympus
Equipment Model: C5050Z - f/1.8
Price (S$): 190
Description:
Clearing up my dry cab and hope this great camera can find a new home. It’s a 5-megapixel camera with a zoom range of 35-105mm, and come with options of scene and A/S/M modes. This camera is as solid as a Leica, and can make to behave like one. It is excellent for low light and under water photography as its aperture start from f/1.8 (You don’t get that anymore in the new compacts).

Wrotniak wrote a number of articles of this camera on his site:

http://www.wrotniak.net/photo/c/index.html

It can be used to take infrared pics with IR filter such as R72 for the fun of it. Can consider mod for IR. Still working beautifully. Minimal user marks. Condition 8.5/10 because of its age. It runs on 4x AA batteries

The package include the following:
Camera with neck strap
43mm Lens cap
Lens come with 43mm Hoya HMC UV filter
Olympus CL-1 adapter mount that takes 43mm filters
43mm CPL Hoya

1x 128MB CF Card
Manuals and CDs
Box
Batteries Not included

For an additional $40 and you get a 52mm screw on 0.5X wide-angle/macro Grobartig converter. It is a 2- piece element; first element is macro function, acting like close up filter and second element screws onto the first for UW effect giving the compact a wider than 35mm view. The lens comes with both caps and a pouch. There’s a crack in the rear cap, but optically >9.5/10. This WA/macro adapter will only be sold with the C5050Z; no separate purchase. Will include the 43> 52mm Step up ring for the WA lens. The ring will also allow the use of 52mm filters (usually cheaper that other thread sizes)

If interested sms me. Prefer to deal in the east

Get the PT-015 under-water housing and it will become an ideal camera for those keen to explore underwater photography with a low start up overhead.
