Discover the world of infrared photography with these converted micro four thirds mirrorless cameras. The camera has been modified to only pick up infrared light. The price includes me teaching you the basics of IR and how to post process the images to achieve the desired result.
Infrared Photography is part of a whole different world of photography, the classic way of IR takes a lot longer with a none-converted camera. One would need to set the camera on a tripod, then proceed to focus the camera and do several adjustments before screwing on an infrared filter onto the front of the lens and then leaving the shutter open for anywhere up to a minute. This is because all unconverted cameras block out all infrared light, only letting a minimal amount of IR light in (that is the reason you leave the shutter open so long to let as much IR light in as possible as most is blocked out). With this IR converted camera the whole process is made easier as the converted camera does not block out infrared light, therefore this camera functions a simple point and shoot, with everything shown live on the LCD screen. I will share more on Infrared Photography upon meet-up. Do try out this interesting field of photography.
Additional Filters (720nm, 760nm, 850nm, 950nm) can be purchased at $28.
