From a personal point of view, the bag can take a 5D Mark II with battery grip mounted on and easily be zipped up. Lots of remaining space after that for your other lens and flash. There are still other compartments for your wallet, memory cards etc. Oh most imptly you can still fit your laptop in there. It sits protected in a separate compartment.
It allows you to carry a tripod externally and a raincoat is provided to cover it from rain.
