Yup, was enlightened by a seasoned photog who told me that good stuffs must circulate since I'm not using ... will throw in a free camera (fully functional), the EOS600 (built like a tank) if BNP met.

For the imagine quality wise it should be similar to the MKII version. Same optics.

Nope the optics is DEFINITELY any time better than your plasticky 50f1.8 ... mine is SOLID Glass with METAL mount ... I think you need to do some homework .... just need to shake any cheapo 50f1.8 to hear the "clork clork clork" sound, and then you come compare with mine anytime ... Optics cannot beat the 50f1.4, sweet spot at f2.8 ... no USM, the usual micromotor focusing noise ... hope this helps
