This is a very good lens by Nikon;
D50 + AFS18-70 is an idea DSLR and better than the Nikon D40/D40x + 18-55 combo which is currently available on the market for about $900. While D50 is not in production, there are two reasons why this set is better. (1) The build quality of AFS18-70 is better than 18-55; (2) D50 is able to support more Nikon lens than D40, e.g., AF50/1.4, AF50/1.8.
Furthermore I am also selling another Nikon lens, Nikon 70-210/4-5.6D. Pls note that this is the D lens, means that it is more expensive and harder to find in the market. For this lens, pls refer to the following lens review by Ken:
