WTR Videography Equipment

I am looking for some video equipments but do not know the terms to it.

Basically, it has got to be able to record at a very high speed of macro items. Example like those in Matrix where you can see the slow motion of the bullet passing by (ok.. I know that is through 3D animation software but just quoting an example). Another example is like the wings of a humming bird that can flip hundred times in a sec.

Not too sure anyone has such equipments here or perhaps, know anyone whom has it.

you can try pm 'dreamerz', he has videocam and dslr for rents. not sure whether his vcam can do the job though =)

I'm not too sure if normal videocam can do the job. Those that I've seen are usually the lens alone and wired to a recorder. Normal videocam should not be able to capture speed 1/500 or 1/1000 of a sec.

normal vcam cant do the job for this...u need a hs vcam...think u need to look at trucatus..or other production hse...

What is your application ? If you need high speed camera for scientific purpose, I may know where to get but price not cheap.

Hi will, actually recommend you shoot on film.

Get a ARRI 16 that can do High Speed...most models can. Then get it developed and telecined..

Else other rental house.
