Dear forumers. Please check back this thread tonight for an update. Meanwhile, my line is still open if you've found my camera.

Please scroll your mouse wheel to the end of this posting to read on my update.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------

I'm calling out for the person who has picked up my Black Sony Cyber-Shot DSC-WX1 to kindly return it back to me.

I got into a cab on the 11th July 2010 (sunday) at Upper Serangoon Road at 10.45pm and alighted at Ang Mo Kio Ave 8 at 10.55pm. I believe that the camera has slipped out from my pocket.

All I want is to have the memory card back and the kind person can keep my camera. On top of that, I'm also willing give a reward to the best of my capacity of SGD$500 to recover my item back.

Please kindly contact me at my mobile number: Nine Seven Four Three Zero One Zero Five or drop me an email at acoustic.moments[AT]hotmail[Dot]com if you want to remain anonymous but still wants to return the item to me.

The content in the memory card means a great deal to me and definitely of no use to you. I can never ever bring back time to capture those pictures. I'd appreciate if you can understand my agony and desperation now and kindly return me the memory card.

My line will be opened for 24 hours. Please do me this small favour and I'm sure that you'll secure a place in the arms of the god in heaven for you're not greedy and selfish and lazy to make a step forward to help this desperate man.

Cordially,
Roy

UPDATE [20:50 15-07-10 Thursday]

I’ve ran out of means and patience to recover my lost possession back and I’ve got no choice but to think of a more creative way to have my item back.

It has been 4 days since I last hold the camera in my hand capturing beautiful memories of my life and I really missed my family portraits and the pictures of my little one and my folks a great deal. I don’t think you can understand my pain now and I’m not expecting that you will. All I’m asking is, if you’ve found my BLACK SONY DSC-WX1 DIGITAL CAMERA on the 11 July 2010 at around 11pm, please return it back to me.

If you’re ever planning to sell it on Hardwarezone, eBay or to a camera reseller, end-user or et cetera, please consider selling it back to me. If you’re ever planning to keep it for yourself as a memento that you’ve picked up the most expensive gadget from your cab ride, I’ll buy you a new camera of the same equivalent value. If you’re ever planning to keep it for your own use, why not consider taking my SGD$500 reward just by returning me the memory card. The camera is worth less than SGD$500 and the 8GB memory card is just under SGD$40.

If you’re sincere to return me the memory card but still want keep the camera and yet do not want to risk exposing your identity, I can always arrange for you to drop it at the place of your choice for me to pick it up. If you’re concern that I might not honour my promise for the reward after you’ve returned me the memory card, I can always arrange for the sum of money to be wired to your destination account. (I’d need you to furnish me the content in my memory card say what was the first and last image I’ve captured and et cetera). Upon confirming that you’ve received the reward, you can drop the memory card at a place for me to collect it back, return it to me by hand or by post.

As for the forumers who have left me invaluable tips and advices, I thank you for you understand and empathize the sorry situation I’m caught in. I hope that everyone who has read this message can click on the ‘Thread Tools’ found on the top of this page and click on ‘Subscribe to this Thread’ and follow me throughout this process of ‘Lost & Found’ and make more constructive comments to create more awareness for the person who has picked up my camera to read.

This is what I’m planning to do for all the forumers here who want to contribute your effort without disrupting your daily schedule in helping me to recover back my memory card.

I’d like to call out for and garner everyone who wants to be involved in my this whole ‘Lost & Found’ act to gather at the Starbucks in Wilkie Edge building (venue to be confirmed if your travelling time to get there is longer than the time you can spend for the gathering) at 8 Wilkie Road (5mins walk from Sim Lim Square) this coming Saturday (day to be confirmed if the turnout is scarce or your vehicle is flash-flooded) 17-07-10 at 8pm (time to be confirmed if you’ve already planned your itineraries for the night) to help me brainstorm on all the possibilities and ways to recover my memory card back.

All the attendees who have confirmed and attended the gathering will be quenched with a Starbucks beverage of your choice. From there on, I’d need all the help from everyone to assist me to post and flood the whole World Wide Web with my ‘LOST MY BLACK SONY DSC-WX1 DIGITAL CAMERA on the 11 JULY 2010 SUNDAY’ message.

If you’re a strong believer that nothing is for free, I’m also willingly prepared to reward you for your effort a gratitude token of SGD$500 if you’ve successfully found me the returner from your postings and have my memory card returned back to me. The returner will still be getting the gratitude token of SGD$500.

For this paragraph, I’ve ran out of words to say…

I reckoned you will not be reading this message but I just want to tell and show it to “You And I Both” that I’m not a person who will give up easily under dire circumstances and the separation I’ve called out for is the last checkbox on my ‘Checklist of Happiness’.
