 the distortion when -Full wide with Oly WCON07 - is pretty bad. You guys might wanna consider the original Nikon Wide Angle Convertor.

Dun rub in bro...
I also dunno why I buy it... haiz...

The original Nikon, no doubt of good quality, is insufficient for my needs, being 0.8x... that's why I was sourcing for a 0.7 or below.
Owning a TCON17 I tot the WCON07 will be of acceptable quality too... thus didn't bother to check properly...

Should have tried the Sony...

ok ... anybody selling the sony WA second hand?? :bsmilie:

haiz.. i REALLY dun wanna spend money on more accessories (unlike fella! okok i better stop rubbing) ;p

then today a client of mine ask me to snap photos of the house that he just renovated (he's an interior designer). i told him i'm no pro and dun dare to charge for any form of photographic services, but he say cannot, he will still pay me a token sum.

so.. i'll need a WA for that too.

hope his token sum can pay for the WA? :dunno:

Agree, WCON07 distortion can be corrected using photoshop. Even Nikon's WC-E80 has a slight distortion. 28mm for interior shoot should be sufficent unless the room is really small, then you'll probably need the DX 12-24 lens. :) jOhO have you tried paranoma for your client before?

WC-E80 is heavier then 5700 w/o battery pack. Overall, 5700 with battery pack, WC-E80 & SB-80DX... it looks awesome! :)

no.. i haven't tried anything! eheh but panorama in an enclosed space? the distortions would be hard to stitch wouldn't it?

yeah put those together and u have a mini gym set? :bsmilie: :bsmilie:

I have not tried pananroma with 28mm. But did it mostly with 35mm. Arcsoft Panorama Maker that comes with the camera should sitch it flawlessly. Check PM.

Actually, Judy Arndt's homemade Panaroma Bracket for 5700 would do better for tight space. At verticle position, you'll capture more esp the ceiling/floor and another advantage is it align the lens with the tripod. :)

It'll be damn heavy as well.... I was using something (602Z+TCON14B+bracket+SB80DX) with similar weight yesterday and my arms are aching now ;p
