Why did 30+ frames overlap together?

Hi guys,

I just got back 13 rolls of negs from the shop and one roll only had 4 frames. The first of which somehow had all the first 32 frames squashed into one, last 4 frames were okay.

I'm using a Bessa R3A, any idea why this would happen?

Thanks!
Ervine

there has been quite a bit said about the bessa film forward winders on various rf forums... i know that it is little consolation, but the "composite" shot does have a pirates of the carribean feel to it... ;)

32 normal exposures on 1 frame and it's not overexposed? Amazing - or do you need to check the metering as well?

metering is fine, it IS over, but sacnned to retrive the wonky info..

My mistake, it's the last 30 frames smashed into 1.. not the first 30...

wow! I kinda like the effect and picture. Kinda cool!!!!

Cool if that's what you want. Not cool when your memories of your trip die together with the "coolness".

True la.

Very sorry mate. Didnt mean that way. But yes, I understand what you are saying.

If it's a Bessa, don't worry... there's always Chiif... ;)
