Got mine too.....btw, saw in this forum that somebody went down to Nikon Singapore to get their D70 firmware upgraded, do we need to do the same thing for this batch of D70?

HOCL, care to post the pics of both the Lens kits and 50/1.8.... I will be doing quite a bit of indoors night shot so thinking about the 50/1.8 too if the results are much better..

(or AF Zoom-Nikkor 70-300mm f/4-5.6G)

bbchia - I bought the 50/1.8 yesterday and used it to photograph my toddler son at home last night. Very pleased with the result! Acceptable noise levels at ISO1600. If you want to see some samples, I can post it tonight.

I am toying with the idea of getting a wide prime lens ... something like 12 or 14mm would be good .. any recommendation? saw this sigma 14/2.8 and 15/2.8 on their website ... how's these? prices?

you must get a 50mm F1.8 first its a really good lens at first (very sharp and nice BOKEH lens )
and next sharpes lens is 70-200vr ;p


acordinly from nikon user here 28-200 and 70-300 picture quality not that sharp...

i think they will recomend you 28-120vr
