No need to Pai sei.
I am still holding on to my D70s on top of my D70i.
If I want to do IR and colour or even UV Photography, I will use my D70s.

I only have the D70. Should I be more pai sei than you?;p

camera is just a tool, don't need to feel pai sei as you long you enjoy taking photos with one and only no so latest camera.

only the image matters
there are alot of P&S shots that can put some D200/D2X shots to shame

but at the same time there are also lots D200/D2X shots that put others to shame
so... only the image matters, not so much the tools

the above quote does not apply on cameras collectors. ;)

Haha.. I'm not the first category... don't have D2xx type...
But hor.. sometime cannot ran away taking bad pic, digital SLR have too many control as compares to my long gone film SLR... I only need to worry abt Shutterspeed and aperture then...

It's more the person than the camera la, ie the processor behind the camera:bsmilie: ...I am still using my D70s. Gimme a D200 also like that, won't be too far away from my current standard...

i've upgraded to a D200 but still holding on to my D70, either than keeping it as a spare cam. the d70 also does not fetch high 2nd hand price if i sell it. so rather keep it in case.

Need two bodies, so I have a D70s and a D80. No need to paiseh - still a very useable camera :)

Me still proubly using my D70 as my main camera and using it often for my product shoot and whatever I need to in my job. My hobby is about shooting pictures not collect camera gears. I see no reason for you to feel that you need to embrassed about it. I don't equate how often I change gear with how much money I earn in life. You still have a pretty good DSLR there...just go express yourself with it and don;t worry what others think of you and your gears. I have own almost all the F serties and a couple of big lens in my life times and now I settled with just this basic set and a few lens and I am fine with that. Suits my need and I still have alot of money left over to indulge in my other hobbies or look after my family. What more can you really asked for?

Cheerio

hee... i still happily using my D70s... ;)
to me, i think is a beri gd entry level DLSR hehe...neber regret buying

Yes.. Totally agreed that $$$ in the pocket to take care of family is more important than no-stop upgrading of gears.. :)

the d70/s is good enough. i only wished there was external AF-C, AF-S,M on the body. plus the auto exposure could have been much better. it always turn out to be under exposed. but after sending to nikon it became better. they said they didnt change anything...hmmm:nono:

I'm still using my faithful D70. It's still an excellent, working camera, and a camera that I love.
