The use of TY-50 is not coz of the ballhead, it due to the bundled release plate doesn't have a hand tighten bolt. So it gets loosen easily after using a while. Though if your experience is happy with it, then it's good for you.

Oh! I thought it was for quick release or something like that, so when I told him about it, he said no, it's the same. No point spending extra unless I'm using a big camera or something. If not the bundled one will suit my GX1 nicely. haha

Yeah. i ask the lady:" you are selling at 215 for the T025 right" she think for awhile and tell me not that price. that price is display set too. keep asking her my friend bought not long ago... still insist saying my friend bought the display set. LL loh. no point argue. get it at $229. ask about the quick release plate, she say that is the one...lol... ok loh.. before left, she gave me a gift. haha. the sirui Strap Genie. i also don't need that loh.. the carbon fiber tripod really solid and light!

Bring ur heaviest len to the shop, and for long len use the longer plate to balance the weight.
