Which Travel Agency Organises Trip to Nepal?

go Country Holiday at Peninsular, 2nd level, above Cathay Photo, at corner. they handle nepal trips n have been doing it for NUS for a long while.
u can try PACWEST, search the internet for the company too. they also specialise in adventure travel.
if u adventure, just buy ticket n go there wack. more fun that way but be careful of your gears.

I went to Nepal with Country Holidays in 1998, for a 5 persons tour group. They are ok in my trip. But take note that the tour agent is only a agent, what they do is actually book your flight and hotel in Nepal, and book a Nepal tour guide for you.
The Nepal tour guide will take over from the moment you arrive in Nepal. He will then arrange a hiking guide, and a group of strong men to carry your bags and food/water, etc.

You can actually do Nepal on your own. Tourism is pretty developed there. Just read up the Lonely Planet Nepal. Can also check out the following agencies' itineraries for reference:

dunt let anyone help u carry ur packs fr the airport to any awaiting car or watever, even if u have a tour agent coming to pick u up and ur tour agent car is park outside. those pple helping u will ask u for $$ for helping u and will 'force' u to pay and when u even have to pay them, make sure u are talking abt SGD coz they can be assuming it USD, even if ur tour agent is there coz he is just as helpless.. just a small advice from my experiences..and my friend group was 'force' to pay USD20 for nothing..

Best take up with a travel agent who have ready packages. If u want a hassle free arrangement and not too particular about the itinerary then Universal Travel has 2 or 3 itineraries that u can do. As for the other agents recommended above like PacWest, Country Holidays, Eco Adventures etc - they have their own itineraries and can even tailor one to your needs. But they cost more (much more). All the local travel agents will have to go through a Nepalese agent.

Nepal is a very beautiful place especially for photographers. Lovely people and beautiful landscapes. But the better seasons to travel are in Apr and Oct.
wow that is bad... the first time i was there, i gave the guy who carried my bag S$2 though he asked for S$10. Later I found out that S$2 is quite a big tip by their standard. In fact the guy asked for more from others in my group but my agent just shove them away.
Actually, only outside the airport and maybe Thamel the tourist area, you will find such touts. ALong the trek, i found Nepalese people to be very friendly.

plse nte tt i am planning not the usual tourist trek. i am planning to hit abt 5000m up close to the trekking peaks, maybe even up to one trekking peaks or to cross one of the High Pass. so if u are keen, have some spare $$, have good trekking experiences, or have completed a 6/7 days mountaineering course before and are keen to go for an adventure plus phototaking, plse email me at keithjhee@hotmail.com. even no experience but want to work something out i also keen. i am looking for likemind pple to have fun.
plse note tt i am a newbie and 99% of my shots i wont even allow them to see daylight..haha..so i am using this trip to practice n learn..and also to visit a senior Monk (a family friend) for some unusual temple visits n phototaking,..
