Hello guys , thinking of getting a picture viewer cum mass storage so that i can put pictures and view on the go . Have found 2 models that i think are not bad other then EPSON (cost a BOMB) . They are the "Vosonic 8360" and the "Creative Zen Vision W" . Priced at $600 for the Vosonic 8360 with 100GB . and the Creative Zen Vision W at $569 with 30GB .

In terms of quality of picture , which is better ? Cause in terms of price , the Vosonic is a winner . But in terms of picture viewing quality and build quality , which is better ?

Thanks guys .
P.S . using Compact Flash cards

I just bought a vosonic with a 160gb for (East Gear at Peniensular sellign at abut $650), it has a multi-card reader. The rest I saw was just a CF card reader, so abit limited. Can record TV program somemore, but not yet try it out. 1 year warranty. Looks class with a matt feel and look.

So far so good loh.............

I would choose the creative Zen Vision (non-W) version :sweatsm: ...
1. High resolution 640X480 (beats the vosonic 8360 at 320X240)
2. Compact and slim (beats the epson)
3. Cheap also
Zen Vision W has a resolution of 480X272 (but bigger 4.3" screen) but
Photos are nomarlly 4:3 (or do you own the LX1/LX2) and needs extra resolution for better viewing...

anyway... just my take ...

I was using the Epson P2000 and Creative Zen Vision.

I'd say, dun go for the Creative. Btw, the replacement costs for the Creative HDD is easily 3x the price of the Epson/ Vosonic player. The Creative uses a 1.8" HDD while the later uses a 2.5".

i believe most the screen is meant for movie. and most dSLR uses 3:2 other than 4-3rd system.

Thanks guys , have since bought the Vosonic 8360 . The screen is not too bad , zooming into the picture is useful . And the best thing of all is actually the speed it copies to the harddisk .. Its VERY VERY fast . Way faster then Epson cause i tried using my friends one and its pretty slow for the Epson , but i would have to say the picture looks amazing on the Epson :)

I use a Sony PSP + 4gb MSPD.

Can play games, watch movies, photos, MP3s... lol

Not to mention the longlasting battery..

I find it is expensive and unsafe (HD) to own a portable storage for photo viewing. So for backup photo, I use portable compact drive. For photo viewing, I copy all the web format jpg to my K750i.
