Considered more point-n-shoot/compact category. Looks like a lot of ppl using MS1 for this.

Wicked! But does provide some food for thought over nomenclature. How should these cameras be classified :
1. Lumix LX100
2. Fuji X30
3. Nikon 1 J3
4. Pentax Q
5. Lumix GM1 (smaller than RX100!)
BTW, labels aside, RX100iv is a great choice for MS1.

I see... These devices have a maximum supported load, so as long as the weight of your new camera does not exceed the specs, then you can continue to use the same one. Same for any other camera support device like tripod, ballhead, etc.

ms1 should work fine, i used the ds1 and it was easy to setup, completely "tool-less" (except for baseplate < that's my main gripe)

But GH4 + 12-35F2.8 = 865g, so out by 15g can or not ?

Anyway, I have bought the Olympus 12mm F2 to pair up with the GH4, so this combi should be good enuf for MS1.

OT abit, this Olympus 12mm F2 is an excellent lens ... :thumbsup:
