C cancan7 Member May 12, 2009 #2 I'll try to answer your question: 1.The Canon DSLR crop factor(for crop cameras like 500D, 50D) is 1.6, while G1 is micro four thirds, which has a crop factor of 2 2. The G1 isn't a DSLR, it uses an electronic view finder.
