Where to scan slides

Greetings eVery1,


does any1 know where can i scan my slide cheap??
prices at photoelite, and konata are way above wat i can afford..
coz i've got quite a number to scan..


or alternative, can i use a normal flatbed scanner to scan them ?¿

Can I know what's the dpi & file format used? Also, what's the average size for each scanned file?

ermm, just checking your colorlab is the one located in the buliding opp. funan rite..

Colour Lab is not very good for slide scanning, only for their negative scanning and prints. :(

So which lab is better, if money is no a big issue.
I wanted something of quality!.

Try Photo Friend. $18 per roll for 16-base (3072 x 2048). You can ask for TIFF or JPG, no extra charges (at least that was the case when I last went).
