hi as above. thanks.

get inserts and buy my company's bags la! cheaper

TCW has a range of bags that look like Domke with a few extras and at a lower price.;)

Just wondering, does CP still carry Domke products? thought they mentioned that they weren't going to bring Domke in anymore because of the high costs.

They still carry Domke products. But they told me they will only bring in 1 or 2 pieces each time though.

Yes I saw them. The external material is quite good, but far from Domke. The inserts suck, and even normal camera bags have better inserts.

i dont suppose "cheap" and "domke" come together  :)

I think Domke prices are justifiable. Because you only get to do business with them only a few times (can count with one hand). Their bags just last and last and last!!!! :) You may perhaps check with TCW at Peninsular, they might be able to help. I bought mine from them many years back at a price lower than what CP quoted me.

BTW, how much is F2 selling outside now?

TCW's domke look alike are cheaper but they are not really that cheap (below $100) I found out the look alike will still cost around $100++ close to $200.

And further more I took a closer look and it would be very difficult to remove the Imitation Brand from the bag.

the last time i enquire...its $240...for either canvas or ballastic...no differnece in prices...

since we're in this Domke bag issue. Was wondering how much to sell off my Domke Outpack (Blue) with many adjustable inlays and it can easily hold 2 SLR, other lenses and a 600mm len right into the centre. Forgot how much i paid couple years ago fm CP.

Is it worth selling or should I keep it?

Cheers!

If you not using it then might as well sell it. Just my opinion.

it's a brand of camera bags... built using hard canvas or ballistic material

1/2 brand 1/2 material i guess... but the bags really really last long

Once you've got that bag, there isn't any excuse (torn bag, etc) for you to change or buy a new one. It really, really last for a very long time. IMO, the more you use it, the softer the canvas is.

how does lowepro range of bag compared with domke... IMHO lowepro is a lot cheper but no less inferior to Domke which i think is overpriced.
