In any case, it didn't come with a strap.
Thanks,

I prefer "Strapless" actually.... Much easier to handle, and undo things... especially when you are in a rush.. and need a fast response, the strap does get in my way.... ;p :sticktong

But does the E1 handgrip require a battery grip ? or does it mount under the tripod area?

I often dont like the straps but find them useful when you need to change
lens in a hurry, cos it leaves your other hand free
also anyone know where to get those narrow straps ?
I see most photojournalist use them as they dont get in the way.

Virgo said:It depends on individual. For me doing weddings and portraits, I prefer having straps so that my cam can hang on my neck after long hours and if I can't find a place to rest. Can't imagine still having to grip the cam after a few hours of shooting!
