I think you will get more response if post in Sony sub-forum. Sigma and Tamron are 3rd party lenses for Sony. They are normally cheaper few hundred dollars than the $ony. But the lens IQ and photo quality may not as good as the Sony.
Alternative, you can go 2ndhand market to get Sony or Minolta used lens.
I wonder if there is any intro in such stores and address on them, so I can take alook or even buy with them. I am also interested in any shops that offer sony lense regardless any brands.
