Where to develop slide?

Hi,

I would like to know where I can develop slide film? Heard Fotohub doesn't do it anymore? That's where I used to go, and where many stores outsource to, so can anyone confirm?

TIA!

ALL SLIDES goes to Fotohub at Commonwealth. They are still doing it. i won't suggest going there though. Really an industrial area and the lift is faulty. It stops at every floor.

I use Fotohub at raffles place for slides. They would then send it somewhere else, perhaps as Dave mentioned to the Commonwealth one. It takes 4 days but its close to my office so its all good.

you can use any fotohub brunches to drop slides there, they will deliver them to the commonwealth where the E6 machine is.

I believe ruby does collection for of slides to be send to fotohub as well.

So sad, the E6 machine used to be below my office only

Alright thanks for the clarification, was afraid that my slide would need to go overseas. Heard the commonwealth branch has fast turnaround time? If so sounds like a deal maker! Gonna call.

They only stopped processing 4x5 slides.

You can collect in 3hrs if you go straight to Commonwealth branch. However there's really nothing to do there cos' the whole place is an industrial area.

Thanks for the info. Since the Fotohub@Beach Road closed down, I was a bit lost.

Hopefully my E6 processing set will be in town by next week.
And I can start to process my 4 x 5 again.

oh no! :( It closed down? :(!

closed for a couple of months already but you still can send in slides direct to fotohub commonwealth where the E6 machine is or any fotohub outlet would actually collect & send them there for processing ;)

Colour Negative is design for Print purpose, and provide us the best result when view via colour print, Colour Reversal film (slide/Transparency/chrome) is more for projection/colour reproduction.

Both are difference in Colour / contrast and gradation. Slide do record more accurate colour and have a higher resolution compare to negative. However Negative do have a wider latitude /range of exposure than slide. :)

I just learn something here today...thanks bro:)

Wah, I went to the Commonwealth branch, it was excellent, not too far from MRT. Went to spend the 3 hours (actually 2h 20min only!) in Chinatown shopping. Shiok man, will go there directly again.

Sifu!! Your statement is so valuable that not many people who shot film actually know it, this community need you! Roger 大人,我们需要你!

Agreed completely!!! We can't argue with someone who bought his camera before I was even born! Besides, he is the superman in the sky. Lunch in Melaka the fly himself back to Singapore for our meetup. How cool can that get right?
