You guys are lucky to work near Fotohub! I can only like pick up my film a week later because of work, be it from Ruby or Fotohub :cry:

actually am more like less than 20metes from fotohub beach road coz am at tan quee lan suites. very near:bsmilie:

RGB was mentioned by adeline in her post, but isn't RGB no longer in business? The Beach Road outlet is now Fotohub...

Hi guys, was wondering if anyone can recommend a good place to develop slides around the west area (near clementi, buena vista etc) or near Eunos/Paya Lebar?

I hear RGB is the recommended place to go but it's a bit out of the way for me. I've been developing at this Kodak shop near my place, the quality is good but it's costly (about $20 to develop and scan) :|

Any other recommendations?

Just laid my hands on a film slr.

Thinking of playing with Slides as well.
Looking at Grace's optical. Just a question, is it possible just develop and scan into CD without mounting?

Cheers.

Yup, it is possible.

Not sure if Grace still does slides though; think they only cross process now. But the safest bet is to call them to ask.

oic. I'll give them a call.

Anymore places in the west which processes:
1) slides
2) b&w films?

I think only Fotohub has the slide process machines in Singapore.

Fotohub has 2 branches at the west side, at Coronation Plaza and Jurong Point. Oh they do b/w processing as well.

cheers,
dw

Ruby also processing slide film & bw.

They also sell bw, slide film too.

oh! There's a branch at JP? Awesome! I'll check that out later.

Anyhow, quick check with Grace:
NO b/w processing, NO slide processing as well. Only scanning.

And yup, they do cross-processing same price as negative films.
(first roll $6.50 subsequent roll $5.50)

According to 1 of the threads the only place that does slide processing is fotohub at beach road outlet. The rest of singapore shops just sends the slides there.

oic.

Anyway, quick pop-by fotohub@JP;
Charges as follows;

Processing:
Negative 35mm $3.50
B/W $5.00
Slides $6.50

Scanning:
Negative 35mm and B/W $7.90
Slides $9.90

B/W and slides takes 3 days to be ready

Anyone a member with fotohub? Seems the 10%disc (not applicable to negative and B/W processing) seems quite good ah? If you are one who always dabbles with slides? ;)
