Where is seling LA-EA2?

CDAF is more accurate and works on the whole frame. PDAF forces me to recompose constantly coz it's only available at a few fixed points around the center.

Huh? I thought CDAF is the inaccurate one.....not to mention it tends to suffer under low-light condition.

Correct. It has a lot of hunting and is not good for tracking.

i think i would rather have a fast AF that would quickly focus than a slow one. either way, i'll miss the shot. but the quickness of it all gives me some satisfaction

It's more accurate on stationary subjects where you and the subjects are not moving and in good lighting. But PDAF accuracy is also so good that it's hard to tell the difference.

i agree with you on this. PDAF is definitely better than CDAF to me.

I never say I have ah....I also considering...cos u know, once u buy, u will be severely infected with THE virus to get other a mount lens to go with it. My immunization not so strong yet....

Not available yet how to buy....I already have 35/1.8, dt 18-70 & Tamron 90/2.8. Thinking of either 16-105 or 16-80cz. But neither has stabilizer. So was thinking maybe just get sel 55-210 instead (same price as ea2) which has OSS. Since de kit sel18-55 is good, I expect de 55-210 to be good too. Then I just keep my ea1 to use with my 2 prime lens.

Well..i own a La-ea1. no doubt the 2 will outperform it and make life much easier. But im not buying the 2. if i do..the 1 become kind of useless. And i dont get any IS with A mount lens anyway..

For people like me who already own the LA-ea1.. I'll rather top up a thousand + alittle to get the A77 body instead to pair with those A lenses.. especially with long FL.

U can sell off de 1 though u won't get much for it. If u get a 17-50/2.8 (either Sony new one or 3rd party) u can probably do without IS. Especially since 5N can properly shoot at ISO 3200.

I dun want to have 2 bodies. It's like having 2 wives ha ha. For me, if I get de 2 it is so dat I can carry around just 1 lens dat will fulfil my requirements 90% of de time like a 16-105 or 16-80.

Oh, i thought you ordered online I just sold my LA-EA1 because I hardly use it after I got a 2nd handed A33 and maybe prepare dry cabinet for LA-EA2. Yah stablilizer is important especially in low light condition, that extra 2 to 4 stops help a lot! I currently looking at Tarmon 10-24mm and planning my shopping list for my HK trip next year. I did notice that the recent SONY products eg SEL30M, SEL55210, LA-EA2, A77, A65, their pricings are very close to HK.
