Apart from Hung brothers in Sim Lim, what are the other recommended places to buy Seinheisser products. I am looking at the G3 wireless mic.

Thanks in advance.

Expandore and Sensys also carry G3.

Was checking out prices recently for the G3 lav set.

Shortlisted 3 shops. Wailian Electronics Pte Ltd, Hung Bros, and Expandore.

Last minute found this shop Welcome to KRISHNA ENTERPRISE Pte Ltd Singapore via google.
Website doesn't inspire a lot of confidence, and gave a dodgy impression. But they have a physical shopfront, and was pretty responsive with a price quote over the phone. Was seriously considering them as they had the best quote.

Wasn't going to check with Hung Bros at all because based on past experience, I was pretty sure that their prices would be on the high side,
Plus during that particular period, they refused to provide a price quote over the phone. All they would say was that they had a special promo price, but I had to go down in person to get a quote.

In the end, glad I decided to just check with them anyway.
Turned out their price was even lower than Krishna Enterprise, said it was an ongoing promo coinciding with BroadcastAsia. Haha.

yeah, i had the same -ve experience w the sales person from Hung Brother. I previously bought from a nice lady called 'Esther' which i thought i might return but was greeted all the time by this guy.

Anyway, they told me offer from the exhibition was over. I checked Expandore website and the equivalent seems to be slightly more expensive?

I'm just as confused as you guys are :p My guess: The G3 sets sold for local use by Sennheiser's authorized dealers will likely fall within the IDA authorised frequency bands for Short Range Devices (see below).
From what I understood, the key seems to be in selecting the band that provides the lowest possibility of interference based on your planned usage.

Out of all the shops I spoke to, only the sales rep from Expandore was willing to make a recommendation: Band C or D for general use (no specific venue).
I'm not sure why, didn't get a detailed explanation.

Singapore Allocation Chart
The radio frequency spectrum is divided into frequency bands allocated to various radiocommunication services such as aeronautical, land mobile, meteorological and satellite communication services.
