Where in Singapore can find good 5R photo paper and in good price

Dear CSers,

Whenever I run a family or office event, I will end up to print many photos. Therefore, I am looking for better price photo papers. I can get 4R photo paper at about S$66 per 200 sheets per shipment. I am not sure the weight could 100 to 120g per sheet. The result is fairly good.

I cannot find similar rate and order qty for 5R Injet photo paper (glossy).

Any one can help?

if you print a lot, and paying $0.33 for each piece of 4R blank inkjet paper, you can get 4R photo prints from digilab around the same price, not to mention saving on the ink cost, printer machine, and also your time and better colours too.

Your advise is very true but I am not running a photography business, and I ma going into retirement by end of this month. I hope with my skill can work with a pro to learn more but at this moment I can only attracts family members, friends and colleagues. So I do not have 100 copies per run to enjoy the low cost printing.

More often is a joy to show them the photos and may be edit it after their comments and print for them. Just that now more wanted 5R as my skill picked up better and they are more willing to place it to show to their friends.

Somehow I cannot find 5R in Singapore for whatever reason. 4R and A$ I can easily find on the web to get it, just not 5R.

Wah, retirement... Congrats! What printer are you using by the way? Dunno if you have run into this before, but my understanding is that if you make a lot of borderless prints, your printer's waste ink pad may fill up quite fast?

I quite like Canon Photo Paper Plus Glossy II for casual prints for sharing. The fairly heavy stock, handles quite nicely, doesn't feel flimsy (260gsm).

I have not checked the web site yet but your information definitely helps. The price seems better than I can get. yet I ordered through Q0010 for 4R cost S$66 no shipment cost. I will go check the 5R cost.

My printer at this moment is Canon MG6300. Yes the ink is an issue but when I see the recipients smile on the face is all worth it. I attended the recent Canon course on color management helps me further.
