Where do you get your films developed?

I've only tried Ruby Photo so far next to Funan. The turn around is 3 days. Do you know other shops that have a shorter turn around for film development?

I'm not yet that confident in trying to develop my own rolls, but I want to get into it someday as well :)

Fotohub beach road, drop off in morning pick up in evening. Better do it soon. They are moving to commonwealth may 15.

Chairman, sounds good, I should try them. You are referring to B & W or Colour or both?

Yup, agree with dankwan fotohub beach rd same day collection, or next day collection if you come in the afternoon. C41 films most neighborhood shops can do express processing. DIY dev is pretty easy and chiif's website has already laid out the steps + photos too!
Only cavaet I would add is I've gotten pretty crap scans, scratched negs and major (developmental) artifacts on b/w negs from fotohub beach rd. ymmv.

Triple D @ Bugis, Burlignton Square.

Cheap, scan + process @ $8

Cross process + scan @ $10

They sell films cheaper than normal Photolabs too.. like efiniti 100 .. 4 rolls @ $10

Yes neighbourhood shops can do the C-41 but there is one near my place which is really really bad.

So far I only use 35mm lab.

What about Fei Fei? Next to Chinatown Point;p
Heard they did very well in B&W? Maybe that is her father's days?

you mean "Chairman ur head" is the full title? :bsmilie: Will try that Dan.

Not top quality scans but usable and convenient for me.

The Fuji lab at Tiong Bahru plaza (basement) accepts C41, B&W, E6. Turnaround for the latter 2 takes almost a week though as they don't do it in-house. Develop + Scan about 10 bucks for E6/b&w.

i suppose they send the e6 stuff to fotohub too.

tiong bahru's very convenient for me too. thanks for the tip.

i've been using triple d at burllington square.

there's one at serangoon central, near post office, cmyk color centre. they offer cross-process and scanning as well, reasonable price. i'm lazy to travel far so i always drop my film there. the guy who runs the shop is nice too :)

hmm if you want fast, there's this place at clementi market area, beside DBS bank, facing the main road (i cant remember the shop name). but its one hour to process+scan+print.

i usually just process, which is 5bucks/film roll (i go to school to scan the negatives for free hehe!).i think if you wanna scan as well, its ten bucks. i dont know if they do slide film though.

best if you can dev urs, feel better if you had to screw it up rather than letting others do that on ur behalf :) but if ur film is important, i rather entrust it to a few I know who can confidently do that for you, he's Desmond Kwan who does it for many pros and their exhibition prints, I'm not sure if he's retired? slightly dearer but you get what you paid for. Still, nothing beats diy and many kind souls in this forum r giving free lessons, try that in the meanwhile.... else pm me so I can give u his number....

For cheap and good quality developing in the west recommend Simon of Grace digital lab at sunset way. Develop $3 plus 16 base scan $5 total $8 but not one hour though. His prints are quite good also.
