thanks for the offer Trevor. will you be able to provide me with more details of your Epson scanner? Resolution, # of scans/hour etc.
unfortunately, i am indeed looking for an above average scanner. don't think there's any point in me investing days/weeks scanning 100+rolls of film & slides in low-average resolution. hope you understand.
regards and enjoy!

Wah.. so far.. hehehehe.. tampines safra just in front of my block =p. And from the website, it says 18 dollars for membership, does it cover the renting of the scanner? if yes, then i thik it is worth travelling down if I got like 10 rolls to scan =p.
On the other hand.. 10 rolls will take a very very very very long time..

Caveat: To use the scanner, you need to be Photo Club member.
To be Photo Club Member, you need to be a SAFRA member.
To be SAFRA member..... ;p
Takes about 3-4 minutes per scan at highest resolution, with ICE turned on. So your 10 rolls at highest res will take 360 x 4 = 24 hours to finish. Each file is 70MB, so you need like 36 700MB CDs to burn them.

p.s : You stay opposite SAFRA? I stay opposite the Tampines Stadium.![]()
