Where can I get Reala and Portra NC?

As per the thread title, I'm looking to get my hands on some Fuji Reala and Kodak Portra NC.

Been looking around the shops at Peninsula and also Ruby; all don't have.

I'd order online but I'm going overseas soon so I don't want to risk shipping delays and all that.

Thanks in advance!

I get superia reala/reala from cathay.

For portra NC, i think triple D has..but why not try Fujifilm pro160C?

Thanks, will have a look!

To be honest I've never tried any of those film stocks before, but based on Flickr images, 160c is too 'punchy'/contrasty for my liking, I'd rather go with 160s. Reala seems to sit between both of those film stocks (from my observations).

went to cathay earlier today and found that they don't stock reala. =/

I got some at ruby. Maybe you can try calling them.

160S is suitable if that's the look you're going for. Both pro 160S and 160C are good for portraits, like portra NC.. can't comment to much on the subtleties as i rarely shoot these..

For reala, I'm very sure I got it from Cathay. Else, the only other shop i've seen it is at fujifilm shop at clifford center. I use it primarily for landscape as i find the color rendition for skintones too saturated.. my fave film

Standard photo lab at tiong Bahru shopping centre I saw fuji reala and Kodak film.

get from Ebay :)

Stanley St in HK if you are ever going there....

I got loads of Fuji (inc Natura 1600) there this week...HK customs were really good too, no problems asking for hand check to avoid the xray (unlike europe where they can get very unhelpful on that)...

I opened the boxes and put all the film in a clear zippy bag, like you would for fluids (left the boxes in my rucksack)...then whilst grabbing a cold beer after security just popped them all back. All safe in the fridge now, nice to know they survived the journey.

Probably the neopan 400 etc would have been fine in any case, but when you have nice guys in customs like that it's always worth an ask.

Cheers

Sean
