got a very nice leather sling bag, want to DIY to a camera bag, where can buy those soft insert to divide it to many compartments and protect the equipment?
buy PE foams - bendable and unbreakable (unlike PS foam used in most electronic packaging which is breakable) n wont decompose to dust (like PU foam used in matresses). Camera shops foam inserts are nicer and comes cloth wrapped. Cheaper PE foams can be found in bookshops and art n craft shops and is usually comes in white.
Buy some neoprene material and wrap your lenses and camera bodies with it. This is an alternative solution. I find that it is more space efficient. You can buy ready-made neoprene material from CP - Op/Tech but they can be $$$$ - about $20 per piece. DIY cheaper. Go to a dive shop and source your material from them. (I don't have any idea about their prices!)

I just found a easy and pretty way-----the soft foam in the PC/laptop box. much better than the normal pad in camera bag---now, get more space and fast access.:cheergal: :cheergal: :cheergal:
