What to get next? (need info for next lens, using 400D)

icic. i see the logic now. The tamron seems like a good lens to replace the kit lens. so currently, my wishlist should logically contain:

Tamron 17-50
Canon 50 mm f/1.8II
Canon 55 -250 IS
430EXII flash

thats a very good combination.

but i can confidently tell you. with a tamron and a flash, you'll be using your 50mm prime very little. this is what i'm experiencing now.

I'm oso using 400D, with kit lens, 50mm f/1.8 but i just get my zoom lens in 75-300mm f/4-5.6 III USM instead of 55-250 IS, any suggestion?
The nx milestone for me is macro, can i buy a close-up filter with my available lens to satisfy macro shoot (eg small insects)?

well, you could do that. but its still best to get the lens itself.

bcos of budget i couldn't afford to buy macro in this moment :sweat: can anyone suggest me IF i choose to buy a close-up filter, +1, +2, +4, +10 which is more ideal for my 50mm f/1.8 o my 75-300mm lens combination?? (i did read "Tele-lens with macro" posted by "w3iw3n" n get some knowledge from there).
